This weekend, in the spirit of Super Bowl season, we will be having a Super Bowl watch party Sunday at 5:30 at Ron Lovelace’s house. Munchies will be provided, but please bring your own beverage. And don’t forget to wear your favorite team’s attire!

Please join us for our first Corporate Communion of the new year at Price of Peace in Muskegon(1110 Dykstra Road North Muskegon, MI 49445)! We will be attending the 11:15am mass. For those interested in car pooling please meet at the Meijer corporate office parking lot at 10:15am. This is the Walker Exit off I96. After mass we will be having lunch at a local restaurant (TBD) and then head to the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex (462 Scenic Dr N Muskegon, MI 49445) to go ice skating. The price to ice skate is $4 and skate rental is $3.

Just a reminder that we will be meeting for our monthly service project on Wednesday, December 15.. We will be doing volunteer work at Pregnancy Resource Center (415 Cherry St. SE, Grand Rapids) from 6:30 PM – 8 PM. After, we’ll probably be going out to get a bite to eat.

This week at Connect we will be celebrating the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception by attending Mass as a group at 7 PM at St. Anthony’s (2510 Richmond Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49504-2398). Afterward, we will be heading back to Holy Spirt when Connect president Ben Rexroat will give a talk on his faith journey and his decision to join the seminary.

We will be having our monthly evening of Adoration and Confession at Holy Spirit this Wednesday, December 1st starting at 7:30 PM. Prior to that, we will be having our monthly Vision Meeting at 7 PM where we will be planning our events for December as well as decide on officers for 2011. All are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend and help us build a better Connect.
Celebrate the church year ending with Connect. We will be attending mass at Holy Spirit at 10am. Following mass we will package food baskets with food collected for Holy Spirit’s food bank. After the baskets are packaged, we will decide on a local establishment to consume food for lunch. For anyone who is interested, you are welcome to play games at Theresa’s apartment.
