Due to bad road conditions last week, we will be cleaning at the PRC THIS WEEK. Anyone who is still in town are more than welcome to come help! We’ll be doing our monthly service project, cleaning at the PRC. Please meet there and once we’re done, we may head out to a local restaurant for a late dinner.

End of the Liturgical Year Party

It’s that time of year again! Break out your ugly sweater and come celebrate the end of another Liturgical Year and the start of Advent.
Emily will be providing pulled pork sandwiches, water/lemonade and at least one dessert. Please BYOB and a dish to share. She will have tables set up in the basement, so there’ll be plenty of room for card/board games if you want to bring your favorite.
We have decided to do a drive for the PRC in connection with our party this year. Please bring a donation with you to the party and we will surprise Vicki with everything the following Wednesday when we do our monthly cleaning there. You can find a list of Urgent Needs here: http://www.prcforlife.
Kiddos are more than welcome to join us. Due to having nieces and nephews, I do have a small selection of toys to entertain children with 🙂

Vision Meeting and Adoration/Confession

This week we will be voting on our new board members for 2017. Please join us this week and prayerfully discern if God is calling you to take an active role in Connect. Connect only runs smoothly because of the dedicated team that works together to provide service opportunities, TOTs, formation topics, and social events. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position please email the Connect group or attend the meeting at 7pm this week.
We will be having Adoration and Confession in the Chapel just off the Narthex of Holy Spirit Church at 7:45. If you haven’t been to it before, Father will kick off Adoration and then while he’s hearing confessions in the small room off the back of the chapel, we’ll spend time sitting quietly, reflecting and saying a rosary.

Connect Bowling Night

What’s better than a Saturday night out with friends having some drinks and a few competitive games of bowling? Nothing! Come join us for a fun filled Saturday evening of bowling at The Clique at 7 pm on Saturday November 19th.
Cost is $3.75 per game plus $2.75 to rent shoes if you need them and we currenlty have 3 lanes reserved, but can add more if we have a really good turnout. Please try to RSVP to this event by around 7pm on the Friday before so we can get a final head count to the bowling alley.
